How To Set Up Your Cigar Humidor

For a cigar smoker keeping your sticks in prime shape is so key. A friend of mine Anthony is having problems with his desktop humidor and his cigars keep going bad. Here is a great instructional video detailing how to keep your humidor at peak shape.

Personally I like to wipe down my humidor at least twice a month with distilled water for starters. For added back up I keep two shot glasses of distilled water at the bottom level and two 75 degree Boveda Humidipaks at the top.  Most importantly invest in a digital humidity reader as the analog are almost never correct.

What is your technique for keeping your humidor at the right humidity levels?

Good Looking, I’m getting a new one though. I think this on is leaking or something. At one point I had two 75s in AND a small sponge that I cut & soaked with distilled, placed on a small plastic saran wrap and still had issues. It may very well b the humidity in my place.
