The Nestor Miranda brand is very highly respected in the cigar world. It should be as it is a collaborative effort from Nestor Miranda and Jose Pepin Garcia. May 9th 2011 was Nestor Miranda Cigar Day and all authorized dealers were offering a free Nestor Miranda cigar with any purchase. So I supported and was gifted with the Nestor Miranda Art Deco Coffee Break.

The Art Deco is a great looking stick. The dark brown wrapper was even in color and seams were tightly rolled. It was firm to the touch from head to foot as well. This medium bodied cigar burned really well and I experienced a nice solid light grey ash. Unfortunately I got a milky taste throughout that wasn’t really my style. I know some smokers swear by the Miranda line, but the Art Deco didn’t really do much for me.

Verdict: Pass ($7.00)
