Yesterday I had the pleasure of being invited to a very exclusive launch of the new Joya de Nicaragua cigar at Nat Sherman. Hosted by newly appointed Director of Retail & Brand Development Michael Herklots and President of Joya de Nicaragua Dr. Alejandro Martinez Cuenca, I was treated to another wonderful night at the flagship Nat Sherman store.
Dr. Alejandro Martinez Cuenca spoke privately to select press about the launch of the new Joya de Nicaragua cigar. We were given the high honor of previewing their Cabinetta Serie Lancero shape that will not be available until its’ release at this year’s IPCPR in Las Vegas in July.
The Cabinetta Serie is expressly blended with mellower, medium bodied Nicaraguan fillers that deliver a smoother, more refined smoking experience. Each cigar’s head is finished with a swath of sungrown Criollo that adds just the right touch of pepper to the intricate taste profile of these finely crafted cigars. Look for a formal review on this great cigar soon.
At the private Nat Sherman Johnson Club lounge, guests were treated to more good times as we sampled the Joya de Nicaragua Antaño 1970 Robustos and Ron Zacapa Centenario 23-year-old Rum.
The Nat Sherman experience has always been first class for me and the Joya de Nicaragua event didn’t disappoint. I suggest everyone get more familiar with Joya de Nicaragua cigars. The company has a rich history and very impressive cigars to match the reputation. Cheers!
