Refugio Cigar House Brooklyn, NY

While enjoying a smoke outside of your home is becoming more of a task, I am happy to announce that Brooklyn has a place smokers finally can call home. Located in the heart of Williamsburg, Refugio Cigar House is my new favorite cigar lounge in Brooklyn. Upon your first visit, it will be yours too.

Refugio Cigar House is a very cozy spot that makes you feel like family as soon as you step in. The management is very friendly and engage all their customers like long time friends.

Decorated in an all camouflage green decor, Refugio is true to its’ refuge moniker. There for sale are some premium cigars from CAO, Romeo Y Julieta, Camacho, Montecristo, La Gloria Cubana and more. The true gems are their house blends.

I had the pleasure of trying three different Refugio house sticks and I was very impressed. Most importantly is their pricing, as prices start at $5.00 for their house blends. I would suggest their double wraps, Brazilians and mild coronas.

Once you pick out your cigar of choice expect to blend right in with the management and their regulars. Talking to the owner Mike Lopez was like to talking to one of my long time friends – a lot of Jokes, stories, sports trash talk and more.

After a brief mention of dominoes on my part, the guys did just that and broke out a table. We had a game going right there all while enjoying our cigars.

I really felt like I was home and literally could have stayed there all night. On top of that no corking fees! Just bring what you like to drink and share with whomever is there.

I couldn’t have asked for more. Kudos to Refugio Cigar House for doing things right. I can’t wait to go back!

Refugio is very customer friendly and their cigar prices are recession proof.

Refugio is the place to be – I am sure their are better ciagr shops out there. Cigars are excellent – from mellow to strong, and have an almost similar kick to a Jose Sejah’s Cigar.

What’s great about the place is that you’re going to find all types of cigars, as their own brand. Great place to lounge, watch any games, play dominoes, and find the best restaurants in that part of Brooklyn – I even forgot to mention LIVE MUSIC and Special guest speakers. What makes it even better is the frienships you make – Refugio is that kinda place you want to chill.

And even better, try ordering their cigars for your friends at the job, for family gathering and so much more.

I really like Refugio, my only issue (which is small) is distance from my place. To get to them I need to iron horse it to the city and then back, but I will be making more trips there.
