Flavored vodka is a popular brand category within the wine & spirits business. While I tend to stick to more of the fruit and tropical profiles, Alchemia Chocolate Vodka is a moment not to be missed!
Distilled from 100% rye grain, this Czekoladowa [Chocolate] vodka is produced by infusing natural cocoa to the base spirit. With a clear deep mahogany color, Alchemia Chocolate Vodka is a delight on the nose. Its’ aroma is of rich premium chocolate with very subtle buttery notes.
Upon my first taste I was even more impressed. Flavorings like this often miss the mark because they don’t reach that balance between chocolate and vodka.
Alchemia has a very clean and fine flavor profile. This medium bodied spirit gives you an immediate impression of premium chocolate that warms your mouth rather than giving you a burn that is sometimes synonymous with drinking vodka.
The texture is very silky and does still pack a punch despite being a flavored vodka – after three glasses I had a nice buzz. While I’m sure Alchemia Chocolate Vodka is perfect for various cocktail recipes, I suggest enjoying it on the rocks. Cheers!

Hands down a winner in my book! That Vodka was a delight to the palate, and when you left, it only took a few minutes for the bottle to be finished. Like Lex said, it drove me wild as well, and I will be making this a welcomed addition to the bar!
