Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, delivers a powerful remake of the popular Jay-Z and Kanye hit “Niggas In Paris”. “Niggas In Poorest” is a exactly what the title suggests – a reality check on the global poverty problem. Normally I don’t post music outside of the Classics Music section, but I thought this was very fitting. Money isn’t everything.

I’m so glad Mos did this, I can still listen to Black on Both Sides as if it was just released yesterday.

I agree brother. I love this remake. Looking forward to seeing what else Mos Def will remix throughout this year as that is his plans. #belegendary

This is the first time I’ve ventured to this part of the site, albeit from a twitter link, and I must say you have a smorgasbord of music for days here. Will be checking this feature more often.
I hope you’re keeping well, Martin?
