The Notorious B.I.G., Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, and Kim Porter partying at Kim’s birthday party in New York City circa 1996. I smirked when I originally came across this photograph as I can relate to mean mugging a camera after some glasses of Champagne.
While I’m not a super fan of The Notorious B.I.G., I will always give credit where credit is due. He played a major part on how Brooklyn became the coolest borough – and this is coming from someone who is from the Bronx.

I like his stuff but didn’t think Ready To Die and Life After Death live up to the hype. Love his flow and persona though, just not sold on those albums.
