Zino Classic #6 Tubo Cigar Review

Zino Classic #6 Tubo CigarBinder: Honduran

Filler: Honduran, Piloto Ligero, Dominican Republic
Length: 5
Ring Gauge: 50

Zino Cigars have been one of my favorite cigar brands for a long time. While I frequent the Zino Platinum series more often, the Zino Classics have been a signature release for the Davidoff company. I recently got the chance to try the Zino Classic #6 Tubo and I was more than impressed.

The Zino Classic #6 Tubo is beautiful looking stick. The wrapper is a medium brown that is soft to the touch from head to foot. Additionally the burgundy and gold band is timeless.

Upon lighting this cigar I got initial toasty notes that fell right in line with the standard Dominican profile Davidoff is synonymous with. The draw was easy on my lungs and it burned nicely.

Going into the second third this cigar really opens up nicely. This smoke was very thick but creamy with notes of wood and earth. I paired it with a nice bottle of Cava my good friend brought to our table and found it to be a great marriage with this medium cigar.

After almost 45 minutes the Zino Classic #6 finished very smoothly with a subtle build of spice near the end. I was left with a feeling of wanting another one but I had a prior commitment. This is a cigar I would definitely buy again without hesitation – definitely box worthy. Long ashes!
