2017 BMW G30 5 Series Sedan
BMW has finally unveiled their upcoming update to the G30 5 Series sedan. While this model looks very similar to its predecessor, the new version features new details that give this car several point of differences.
The body has gained some size with 1.2 inches added in length, 0.3 inches in width and 0.6 inches in height. The weight has been shaved by 220 pounds due to the “BMW Efficient Lightweight” concept design which has upped the steel and aluminum used in the car.
Digitally the 2017 has advanced your drive with an optional radar, ultrasound sensors and a remote parking application.
The engine will be available in both 530i (2.0-liter 4-cylinder) and 540i (3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine) models. Both will provide power (248hp – 530i, 335hp – 540i) and finesse (258 lb-ft of torque – 530i, 332lb-ft of torque – 540i).
