I have had the pleasure of smoking this cigar previously and it was stellar. This was a tasty light to medium earthy smoke and the construction even held up during a windy Manhattan day. This would be a perfect smoke if you don’t over eat and still have room for seconds. Also for my lovers of the bubbly this is an ideal cigar to go with chilled champagne as it is named after the region in France that made this grape famous.

Pioneered by former Olivia employee Same Leccia, the nub took a simple premise of getting right to the flavor with little time. This cigar is medium in body and has a great creaminess that is present throughout. I would light this cigar up if you are having a glass of wine or a single malt scotch after your dinner when you are ready to unwind. Take your time with it as there is a very deep and robust smoke behind that 54 ring gauge. 

 

La Aurora 107 Lancero

As a huge fan of the La Aurora 107 series I personally can’t wait to get my hands on this cigar. Smoker’s across the country contacted La Aurora on twitter and requested this vitola (size) for this line and their wishes were fulfilled. My experience with the Belicoso great. It was full of great flavor and burned flawlessly. La Aurora never planned to make the Lancero so they only produced 300 boxes. I have heard nothing but amazing things on the Lancero so if you can find it be sure to snatch a couple to keep in the humidor.
