Absolut Elyx Super Premium Vodka
Handcrafted in small volumes from selected, single-estate winter wheat and pure spring water, the Absolut Elyx Super Premium Vodka has been developed over a period of more than ten years.
100% hand-selected, single-estate winter wheat. Elyx is distilled exclusively from winter wheat from the Råbelöf estate near the Absolut factory in Åhus. The Råbelöf wheat gives the drink its fruity and floral notes.
Pure water filtered by nature. The distillery rests on its own natural underground springs. Filtered through a boulder ridge and limestone bedrock, this water has never been exposed to any kind of pollution. The water is low in minerals and soft.
Absolut Elyx is being premiered exclusively in Sydney, São Paulo Guarulhos, Rio de Janeiro Galeão and Frankfurt airports. The launch will then be rolled out in the global travel retail market throughout the Summer and Fall of 2011.
I am really interested in trying this bottle out. If any of you jetsetters out there see it, pick one up for me. Cheers!
I definitely want to try this even though I’m not a strong vodka drinker
Although it sounds good, I cannot drink ANY flavor Absolut…a lesson well learned in my 20s.
Dyv,
Certain vodkas don’t really do it for me. I don’t mind Absolut at all. I find Ed Hardy to be the smoothest vodka I’ve had thus far. Let me know if there other brands I should be trying. Cheers!
I like Absolut but the repercussions outweight the benefits 🙂
Vodka is my libation of choice. My favorite vodka is 44 North- Huckleberry. Every time I bring it to a function, the bottle is finished within an hour. It’s a vodka made from Idaho potatoes and is very smooth. It does not really need to be mixed with anything and if I do mix it, I stick to club soda, tonic or a splash of Sprite. Most importantly, it has never given me a hangover, even after I have had more that a little 🙂 They make three flavors, so make sure it’s the Huckleberry. The other flavors aren’t as tasty.
Cheers to you as well!!
Oh and if you like liquer, try Tuaca.
Ah I totally understand your position! I’ve never had 44 North but I will try to get my hands on it for an official review. I see Tuaca is a Vanilla Citrus Liqueur, I will check that out as well. Stay tuned, I have some more Wine & Spirit reviews coming. Cheers!!!
