The Audemars Piguet brand is synonymous with luxury timepieces. The Royal Oak continues to be one of their signature models and with good reason. While the all metal version is a no brainer, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Self Winding Watch with alligator strap definitely caught our eye.

This model is self winding with date display and centre seconds. The standout is the 18-carat pink gold casing, proofed sapphire crystal and screw-locked crown that makes this watch a classic. In terms of hard details this model is 41mm wide, 9.80mm thick and is water resistant up to 50 meters.

Another detail that we love is the face; it is silver-toned with the “Grande Tapisserie” pattern. Also pink gold is applied hour-markers and the Royal Oak hands feature luminescent coating.
Internally the AP Royal Oak is a mechanical wonder with 280 working parts; including a 3,00 Hz balancing wheel that keeps the watch functioning at full power.
