Ayala is a wonderful brand of champagne I came across in 2011 at the First Inaugural U.S. Champagne Grand Tasting. The portfolio I experienced showed a finesse and taste that really wowed me. While enjoying a cigar last week a dear friend of mine picked up a bottle of Ayala Rosé Majeur. This was another great showing from Ayala if not their best.
On the nose Ayala Rosé Majeur Champagne gave me hints of sweet red fruit with an underlying creamy undertone.
Upon my first sip I was really impressed by a fresh and delicate flavor profile. This is a classic Brut Rosé Champagne that gives you a perfect balance of sweetness and dry.
In the mouth, the wine is rich, lively, and medium-weight. It yields very pleasant flavors of faint cherry and wild berries. The finish is a crisp and rather generous one that will leave your palette wanting more.
Again Ayala showed me again that champagne excellence should not only be associated with the bigger champagne houses. Ayala Rosé Majeur Champagne is a lovely bottle that you will want to keep in steady rotation. Bottles high!
this is very good
a great tasting product, very well created.
I experienced Ayala earlier this year and really enjoyed it. They produce a Brut Naturale that I am searching for that is hard to locate in the market so if you get to it please share.
