The weather is about to break in New York City so lighter outerwear is a must. While killing time before a meeting in the city, I popped in the Banana Republic by Grand Central Station. This double-breasted trench coat instantly caught my eye.

This piece is three quarters in length and features notch lapels and removable lining. In inspecting this coat I found the texture to be just right; thick enough to withstand rain but not too heavy.
I own a full length trench coat and while it is the classic selection, the three quarter length is ideal for spring.

This is a versatile piece too; you can dress up or down without sacrificing its’ integrity.
