Yesterday I had the pleasure of being invited to the Belvedere Vodka Summer Cocktail Reception. Hosted by mixologist Claire Smith, these  Belvedere Vodka Summer cocktails should be apart of every bar menu this season.

The Summer Cocktail menu was created with their flavored portfolio of Belvedere Citrus, Belvedere Pink Grapefruit, Belvedere Orange, and the new Belvedere Bloody Mary flavor. All of which are naturally flavored.

All the guests were treated to superbly light and tasty cocktails. While all of the selections were impressive, I must say the ‘Grapefruit & Almond Iced Tea’  was the highlight of the night. Made with Belvedere Pink Grapefruit, green tea, and almond syrup, this drink wasn’t only delicious but the presentation was very unique with one huge piece of ice and lemon peel garnish.

Claire Smith, Head of Spirit Creation & Mixology, spoke briefly about the idea and what went into each signature Summer cocktail. This made me only appreciate the drinks even more.

I had a great time at the Belvedere Vodka Summer Cocktail Reception event and have an even greater appreciation for their flavor portfolio. I look forward to trying Belvedere Citrus, Belvedere Pink Grapefruit, Belvedere Orange, and Belvedere Bloody Mary independently to concoct my own Flawless Crowns inspired recipes. Cheers!
