Chopard L.U.C Full Strike Watch
To mark the 25th anniversary of its L.U.C Swiss watch collection, Chopard has created a peerless transparent luxury in the Chopard L.U.C Full Strike Watch.
In addition to the monobloc dual-gong/crystal construct, the entire bezel, case band, crown, case-back and rear glass of this new L.U.C Full Strike Sapphire watch are cut from blocks of sapphire. Measuring 42.5 mm in diameter and totally transparent, the Chopard L.U.C Full Strike Watch is the first minute repeater watch whose case is made entirely of corundum crystal, better known as sapphire, offering a 360-degree view of a movement with exceptional finishes. This five-piece limited series gets the very best from sapphire, resulting in a veritable horological musical instrument.
The L.U.C Full Strike Sapphire watch is the first non-metallic watch to bear the prestigious Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark, covering both the design and finishing of the case and movement. In addition, the L.U.C Full Strike Sapphire watch inherits the latest advances with which the L.U.C 08.01-L movement is endowed.
It boasts two barrels – one for the hour, which guarantees the watch a 60-hour power reserve, and the other for the striking mechanism which enables it to sound the longest time indication, 12:59, twelve times. In addition to being certified Poinçon de Genève quality and holding a COSC certification as a Chronometer, this movement enabled the development of a unique on-demand striking system, as well as four patents. It displays the hours and minutes at the center, the seconds counter is located at 6 o’clock with the precision and elegance that characterize Chopard.
