French automobile manufacturer Citreon have outdone themselves with their recent announcement of their Metropolis Concept car.

As a collaboration with PSA/Peugeot-Citroën and Changan Automobile Group, the Metropolis Concept Car will bear the official name of DS9 upon release. Heading to production in China, the DS9 will sport a 2.0L V6 motor and a 7 speed dual clutch. That all adds up to 460 horses under the hood.

This is a great sport that doesn’t give you the same pretentiousness of maybe a Porsche. I love the elongated but bold look of this car. Additionally the grill and other details make this a moment. They can keep those rims though.

The Citroen DS9 is slated to be released sometime around 2012. No word on price or whether this trophy piece will make it to the states.
