Classics: Funkmaster Flex 90’s Mix
Admittedly I am not a big fan of commercial radio, regardless of the genre. As a listener we are usually forced fed about the same twenty songs a day which our personal music collection as the only alternative. In 2007 Funkmaster Flex did something special that broke down those walls for a night.
On July 4th 2007, Flex played nothing but 90’s Hip-Hop for five hours. Going in a chronological order he starts off in the early 90’s and progresses to into the later stages of that special decade. Still to this day I play this at least once a month. Below is the exact playlist:
