Lately I’ve been curving myself off Rap music and enjoying some more R&B and soul. A couple of weeks ago I attended a great July 4th barbeque and the soundtrack was made up of true feel good music. Digging into my archives I have pulled out a gem for you all in the DJ Lovebug Starski ‘Oldies But Goodies Volume 2’ mixtape.

Originally released in 1998, this mixtape is the perfect backdrop for any party, long drive or personal moment. Starski pulls out some classic R&B / Soul tunes in this almost two hour set. The only drawback is the audio was pulled from an actual cassette so the quality isn’t anywhere close to digital. Considering this tracklisting I think it still works.
