Converse is one of those brands that will be forever tied to the American style. While I am generally not a fan of Chucks, the new Jack Purcell First String Crepe Collection is something that I need for this upcoming summer.

If you notice the gum sole is brought all the way up to the toe box gives these shoes a cool update that makes the pair unique. Additionally the brown coloring affords them a nice contrast.

These Jack Purcell’s come in three color ways which include a navy blue, cream and black with very good looking laces.

In my opinion this one of the stronger collections from Converse in some time. These will go perfectly with denim and a classic white t-shirt during the summer. Let me know your thoughts in the comments section.
