Courvoisier Connoisseur Collection 21 Years
Courvoisier recently introduced their first age-declared cognac. Their Connoisseur Collection is aged 21 years and is created from 100% hand picked grapes from the Grande Champagne region.
This 21 year is aged for over two decades in fine grain oak barrels. Age statements are common in the world of Scotch and, less so, in Bourbon. But Cognac has long relied on its age-old system of categorization in which VS means a brandy aged two years or more; VSOP means four years; and XO means six.
The 21 year is priced at $250.00 dollars. I can’t wait to taste it. If you have crossed paths with the Courvoisier Connoisseur Collection 21 Years let me know.
Cheers!
