Dining: Blue Fin New York
New York, NY 10036-1517
Manhattan is filled to the brim with top notch restaurants. One that I always make an excuse to go to is Blue Fin. Located on the ground floor of The W Hotel in the Times Square Theatre District, Blue Fin is a sophisticated seafood experience. The decor is sleek and invites you in with a street level trendy bar that is visible to all on Broadway.
Upon entering you are welcomed to an elegant downstairs eating area. A soaring staircase takes you up to a separate upstairs seating area and a raw sushi bar.
The food at Blue Fin is excellent. You can choose from Chilean sea bass, big eye tuna, Maine lobster and the list goes on. One of my personal favorites is the tuna tartar. Sushi lovers are in for a spicy time. Blue Fin has an impressive roll out of nigiri, sashimi, maki, and more.
Wow! I had no idea Blue Fin was SO big. I’ve walked past this place plenty of times when I lived in NYC. I honestly just thought it consisted of that bar area you see from the street. I may have to check them out next time I visit although I’m pretty sure the prices are probably wayyyy out of my limit.
Nice blog by the way!
definitely fine dining. the prices make my credit card explode;-)
Many thanks for the top quality writeup. Furthermore, exactly how could we communicate?
