Don Q continues to experiment with new ways to bring their famous spirit to life thus it should be no surprise a new expression is being added to their award winning portfolio. The Don Q Double Aged Sherry Cask Finish Rum is an innovative rum aged in American white oak barrels and in sherry casks.

To create this vibrant rum expression, hand selected rum blends were aged for 5 to 8 years in American white oak barrels. This blend of rums is then aged for an additional year in select sherry casks that were previously used in the aging of Spanish Oloroso Sherry.

Don Q Double Aged Sherry Cask Finish Rum has a nose of toasted oak, cherry, dried fruits, and tobacco.  The taste profile is billed as featuring hints of delicate charred wood, honey, toasted almonds, raisins, dark chocolate and creamy melted caramel resulting in a richness of flavor, a long finish and a harmonious sipping experience.
