Esquire Big Black Book Launch At Nat Sherman 42nd Street
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Esquire‘s Spring 2011 Big Black Book launch at cigar retailer Nat Sherman’s flagship New York City.
Esquire teamed up with Nat Sherman to showcase the Esquire home collection that included home decor and furnishings which were provided by ABC Carpet & Home.
The Nat Sherman flagship store is a must visit for any cigar smoker. The location boasts three floors that includes a pool table, great history throughout pictures and memorabilia, and a very plush downstairs lounge called The Johnson Club.
Besides the great setting and ambiance, guests were treated to truly delicious hors d’œuvres catered by Tealicious Catering and great cocktails fusing Gentleman Jack Bourbon.
On top of that the cigars came into play. Nat Sherman made a special blend to commemorate the partnership with Esquire. The cigar featured Honduran tobacco, binder and a Cameroon wrapper. Talk about class – they had a gentleman there cutting and lighting the cigars for all the patrons; I was definitely impressed!
My favorite part of the night was hanging out in the usually private Johnson Club. There are several leather couches and a private bar with a bartender making cocktails. I met several cool individuals through cigar talk.
I really had a great time at the Esquire launch. Even if you didn’t smoke you were really treated to something special in regards to the decor and style of Nat Sherman.
Overall I had a great time at this event. I hope to enjoy myself in this fashion all throughout the Summer. Cheers!
This looks fantastic. I need to go!
