In their continued efforts to promote the great Italian culture, Gambero Rosso hosted a very unique and impressive private wine tasting earlier this week. The Gambero Rosso Tuscany Red & White Wine Tasting featured two of the wines at the heart of the zone’s production. The white, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, is from the fabled town of towers. The red, Chianti dei Colli Senesi, is from the Sienese hills. Finger food and other small creative mouthfuls accompanied the wines. Finally a master wine class followed the tasting that looked deeper into the nature of these wines.

One of the companies that truly impressed us was Salcheto Wine. Salecheto is an organic and totally self sustainable carbon free vineyard. It was a great pleasure to attend another Gambero Rosso hosted Italian wine tasting. The selections featured definitely represented the spirit of Italy well. Cheers!
