Gnarly Head Chardonnay 2009 Wine Review
Type: Chardonnay
Color: Straw
Grapes: Chardonnay
Country: United States (California)
Ever have a wine so remarkable you knew during your first sip that it was a bottle you had to keep in steady rotation? Well that happened to me yesterday. I was at my local wine shop and was referred by the owner to Gnarly Head Chardonnay 2009.
While I was skeptical of the the name and the label design at first, I was so pleased that this might be my white wine of the year!
The Gnarly Head Chardonnay is bold with bright fruit flavors with very little dryness. This is a full bodied wine that is so smooth and pleasing that I was upset that I didn’t have another bottle for seconds.
I served this beautiful chardonnay chilled and paired it with a baked salmon fillet and sauteed spinach topped with Parmesan cheese.
I invite all of you to pick up Gnarly Head Chardonnay 2009. The price point is under ten dollars and will rival any other California chardonnay with its’ finesse and flavor. Cheers!
Again, sounds like a great pick at a great price I can’t wait to try it.
will check it out, thanks for the recommendation!
sounds tasty, really like the price
