Harvest Wine Bar & Restaurant Greenwich Review
While New York City hosts some of the finest restuarants in the world, we are always up for new scenery. Located in the heart of the shopping district of Greenwich Connecticut, Harvest Wine Bar is one of our new favorites.
Harvest is a modern establishment with a reputable wine list and a solid menu that is mostly new American but with subtle hints of Italian bistro.
On our last trip we started our meal with an excellent pear-endive salad that featured spiced pecan halves, baby arugula and manchego cheese all in a light drizzle of raspberry vinaigrette.
Next we ventured into some shellfish with the mussels in a beautiful red sauce which we paired with an Oregon Pinot Noir that slips our mind.
For our main course we both decided on the wood grilled salmon. This fish is cooked well and is accompanied with roasted fingerling potatoes, baby carrots, and a very refreshing beet vinaigrette.
The mood called for desert and we decided on the the warm cookies with ice cream and a second plate of the banana bread pudding; both were great.
Every time we have patronized Harvest Wine Bar we have been impressed with their consistent quality and service. We look forward to coming back in the summer. Cheers!
