Irony Monterey County Pinot Noir 2009 Review
I recently have been on a wine kick. Well come to think of it a vodka kick too, but who’s counting. With wines I look forward to appreciating the taste more so then the body, nose, etc. In my search to restock on my new favorite wine Bridlewood Pinot Noir 2008, I came across an equally if not better selection. The Irony Monterey County Pinot Noir 2009 is a wine that every lover of the moment should keep stocked at the home.
The aroma is sweet and the body is light and with a pleasant mix of fruit. The finish is slightly dry but far from extreme. It’s the kind of dryness that leaves you wanting more.
I really like this wine, it’s very straight forward and far from complex but it’s very tasty. I assume that credited wine experts might find this bottle a bit young, but if your palette isn’t ultra refined then you won’t know the difference.
I would pair this wine with a light bodied cigar with a Connecticut shade wrapper that won’t overpower the bottle. If you are driven wild by wines, then it will not hurt to let this sit for a year or two to age. Priced around fifteen dollars, the Irony Monterey County Pinot Noir 2009 is a steal. Cheers.
This Sounds Really tasty (Nullis) but i dont drink.. LOL!!!
I’ll definitely try this out.
