While I tend to gravitate towards premium name brands, I am always on the look out for great independent cigars. In April I came across a new cigar called The Temptation. Distributed by J & D Cigar Co., The Temptation Habano Claro is hand-made in Nicaragua by master tocedores (rollers). It is available in five different vitolas (shapes) and has had a nice little buzz heading into its release. Needless to say I was very excited to light this smoke up.
The Temptation Habano Claro Churchill is a nice looking stick. The band is a very unique blue color that has some reflective properties. Upon lighting this cigar I got an immediate taste of cream which I really liked. I got a very nice coating on my tongue that left me wanting more. The creamy flavors progressed into some earthy and milky tones by the second third.
The draw was great as I got that wee bit of resistance that I always prefer – I got ample of amounts of smoke with each pull. The burn needed a couple of touch ups with the lighter but it was nothing major. This a very good mild cigar that still gives you great flavor. I would pick it up again.
I liked this cigar as well
great stuff
