Jeio Bisol Prosecco Brut Review
Type: Sparkling wine
Color: Straw yellow
Grapes: 100% Prosecco
Country: Italy
Jeio is a Prosecco Brut that I recently came across while enjoying some great Thai food with a good friend. While it isn’t brilliant sparkler, it serves it purpose.
Nose:
On the nose I got a nice fresh sweetness that reminded me of some apple infused dessert.
Flavor Profile:
The flavors of fruit, specifically of pear, were very prominent upon my first sip. This Jeio is moderately dry but still had a nice taste that resonated nicely on my palette. It paired well with my shrimp pad Thai.
Body:
This Prosecco is well rounded and seemed to land at a medium body. It wasn’t as well balanced as I would have hoped but maybe it’s just me being picky.
Finish:
The finish was nice but wasn’t really crisp which is my preference.
Verdict:
Overall the Jeio Bisol Prosecco Brut is a nice sparkler that isn’t very complex. If you’re a wine expert or really fancy the bubbly like I do you might be disappointed. But if you are looking for an inexpensive bottle ($16.00) for everyday use or something to pour at a cocktail hour or wedding reception than this will fit the bill.
Sounds crisp and refreshing and at a good price point. Will have to check it out.
Good pricing
