The annual Kentucky Derby is this weekend and in anticipation of the iconic race we share one of our favorite recipes from I.W. Harper Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

Developed by Mark Corley, bartender at The Silver Dollar in Louisville, this cocktail is sure to keep the festivities going until the final flag is waived.

• 1.5 oz. I.W. Harper Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
• .5 oz. Grenadine
• .5 oz. Lemon juice
• .5 oz. Grapefruit juice
• 3 Dashes Orange bitters

Shake and Strain over fresh ice in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
