The La Flor Domicana Air Bender cigar is a stick I have been fancying for about a year an a half. I had the pleasure of enjoying the La Flor Dominicana Air Bender Guerrero in Miami and I instantly fell in love. While the Chisel vitola gave me some problems, the Maestro proved once again why this is one of the best cigars on the market.
During La Flor Dominicana Casa de Tabaco Launch At Nat Sherman event, my great friend struck an instant bond with La Flor Dominicana owner Litto Gomez . Weeks Later Litto sent over a box of Air Bender Maestros to our attention and here we are.
The La Flor Dominicana is a very impressive looking cigar. The wrapper is a great reddish brown color with very little veins displayed and seams that are rolled flawlessly. From the cap to foot, this is a very firm cigar that gives some bounce every time you press on it.
Upon lighting this cigar I experienced a wide open draw and the signature full bodied Air Bender experience. I got a great woodsy and earthy flavors on stick right away.
This is a bold cigar with tons of flavor that is so well balanced you will never feel overpowered. It burned very well and never gave me a problem. Additionally the ash was a faint grey and it never went out on me.
After an hour later I was left with such a great impression of the La Flor Dominicana Air Bend Maestro. This smaller vitola still means business and smokes like a dream. If you are looking a flavor full bodied smoke then look no further. Litto Gomez wins again.
