Lotus Hope Track Bike
Lotus is using their distinct eye for engineering to the cycling world. The Lotus Hope Track Bike is an innovative take on the track bike that will add a luxurious touch to staying active.
Lotus and Hope Technology have collaborated on a release specifically constructed for the Great Britain Cycling Team. Lotus Engineering has created the unique front fork design and handlebars for the new bike, working with Hope Technology to integrate these components into the overall package. This has included a full program of wind tunnel evaluation on both bike and rider, plus testing to maximize the strength while minimizing the weight. Lotus has also worked on improving stiffness and front end feel to improve rider confidence.
The Lotus Hope Track Bike features carbon fiber detailing with branding throughout the wheels, fork, down tube and seat stay.
To qualify to be ridden at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the bike’s design must be approved by the UCI and it must be ridden during the 2019/2020 Tissot UCI Track Cycling World Cup series by the Great Britain Cycling Team before the end of 2019.
