Mercedes Benz is giving one of their most iconic SUV’s a modern update but staying true to the original aesthetic. Behold the Mercedes Benz 2019 G-Class SUV.

Known for its’ rugged outdoors appeal the G Wagon’s boxy look remains pretty much in tact with a rather noticeable overhaul on the mechanics and interior. The body is only 2.1 inches longer and 4.8 inches wider than the previous model.

The 2019 model is powered by a 4.0-liter V8 engine that pumps out 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Additionally there is an improved rack-and-pinion setup and new front independent suspension.

The inside stays true to Mercedes’ luxury appeal including plush leather seating, dual 12.3-inch screens. 2019’s focus was clearly to make the ride much more comfortable thus offering passengers 6 inches more in legroom.
