Mionetto Prosecco Brut D.o.c. Review
I love champagne. While my love for the bubbly runs deep, I can still appreciate sparkling wines. Last week I came across an impressive Italian bottle. With my pleasure let me introduce you to Mionetto Prosecco Brut.
Priced under twenty dollars, Mionetto Prosecco Brut is made from 100% Prosecco D.o.c Treviso grapes. With my first sip there was an intense flavor of fruit. This brut had a great crispness to it and was well-balanced. The body is dry and light and would be perfect pairing with a rich pasta meal, fish or mild cheeses. I look forward to adding this bottle to my wine menu during the upcoming holiday festivities as should you.
Sounds tasty! I feel like drinking this right now!
I only recently had a chance to try this prosecco. I agree the the minute it hits the tongue, fruit notes are very noticeable. I mostly detected citrus, grapefruit specifically. I find it a bit too dry for my liking, but I’ll still enjoy the bottle. Seems like something I would like with grilled fish on a summer day.
