Moët & Chandon Nectar Impèrial Rosé Review
Within the last couple of years the demand of Rosé champagne has skyrocketed. Regardless of the reason of the popularity increase amongst the masses, Rosé has been a long favorite to wine and bubbly enthusiasts. Recently I shared a bottle of Moët & Chandon Nectar Impèrial Rosé with some good friends and was once again reminded of how special this bottle is.
Made from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, Moët & Chandon Nectar Impèrial Rosé is a very intense and very rich tasting champagne.
With some Rosé’s you will often get an unbalanced and super sweet bubbly. With this Moët I got a full-bodied crisp fruitiness that wasn’t too sweet.
On the nose I got bright notes of strawberries and a bit of lemon. The color is a vibrant deep pink.
Priced around $80.00, this bottle should be left for special occasions. Normally I would suggest a couple of food groups to pair champagne up with, but I can honestly say this Nectar Impèrial Rosé stands well by itself. If you’re a smoker go with a medium to full-bodied cigar that won’t overpower it with too much spice.
Bottles high.
Sounds tasty.
Looks sexy.
