New York Food And Wine Festival 2010
The Food & Wine Festival took place in Manhattan last week and I was fortunate enough to get a spicy all week pass to the festivities. Presented by Food & Wine Magazine and Travel + Leisure, the third annual New York Food & Wine Festival hosted over eighty different wine and spirit brands, and over a hundred different food companies.
Upon entering you are immediately gifted a complimentary a Waterford Crystal wine glass to wear around your neck for your tasting pleasure. As you walk around you are offered tastings right away. It was definitely an experience to taste wine after wine while nibbling on bite sized treats.
Delta Airways had a real impressive tent with some first class seats to lounge in while they passed around hors d’œuvres and served a delightful Prosecco Brut called Mionetto.
The main tent had various brands including Coca-Cola, POM, Bulldog Gin, ShopRite, Svedka and many more. Here are some pictures from the event.
I want to thank my good friend and food photographer Tessa White for the extra photos as I could not attend each day of the festival. For more information on next year’s festivities, please visit www.nycwineandfoodfestival.com. Proceeds go to the Food Bank For New York City and the Share Our Strength No Kid Hungry foundation.
Next time hit me up please?!?! I’d take photos and blog about it too
