Piper Sonoma Brut Sparkling Wine Review
Type: Sparkiling Wine
Color: Pale Gold
Grapes: 60% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir, 25% Pinot Meunier
Country: United States (California, Sonoma County)
While real Champagne only can come from France, there are some great sparkling wines coming out of our native country. I had the chance to try the Piper Sonoma Brut Sparkling Wine and was very pleased.
On the nose the Piper Sonoma Brut hit me with soft aromas of apple and peach. I got really crisp citrus and an underlying toasty flavor. This is a medium bodied sparkling wine that is dry and fresh with a long bright finish. Feel free to put this bottle to use to make the perfect mimosa with some fresh orange or grapefruit juice. In regards to eats, pair it with a nice appetizer or cheese platter. Cheers!
sounds tasty
