Reichsrat Von Buhl Jazz Label Riesling 2008 Wine Review
Type: Riesling
Color: Straw
Grapes: Riesling
Country: Germany (Pfalz)
Dating back to 1849, Reichsrat von Buhl is one of the great properties in the Pfalz region with a tradition of producing the top Reisling wines. Today von Buhl is still one of the leading estates in the Pfalz region with international recognition. The Reichsrat Von Buhl Jazz Label Medium-Dry Riesling 2008 is a testament to their quality.
On the nose I got great fruity and floral notes. This Riesling is bold but still light and fun. You’ll get great acidity with vibrant peach and strawberry flavors. More importantly this bottle balances sweet and dry so excellently. I enjoyed this wine independently. Later I paired it with a seafood entree. Finally I put it to the test with a mild bodied cigar and it held up very well in each setting. I would definitely buy this again without hesitation as this is my new favorite Riesling.
I tried this and its pretty good
