Roederer Estate Brut Sparkling Wine Review
Type: Sparkiling Wine
Color: Pale Yellow
Grapes: 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir
Country: United States (Mendocino County, Anderson Valley)
Certain bottles I’ve popped will always help me frame great moments in my life. The Roederer Estate Brut is such a bottle. It is made of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes and is aged at least of two years on the yeast. This is one of the finest Brut sparklers that you will find.
For a bottle that is under $20.00 dollars, it has characteristics of something much more opulently priced. On the nose I got notes of apple and grape.
Roederer Estate Brut is a very crisp medium bodied sparkler that is very lively and effervescent. It is dry but still full of complex flavors including
pear and hazelnut. Additionally the medium finish is clean with some subtle sweetness.
This is a perfect bottle to serve with assorted cheeses, smoked salmon, and salads. I highly recommend it.
I would like to try this with a stogie on Friday
I have drank this a few times and I agree it tastes great for the price.
