Since the age of 17 I have had several memorable interactions with mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. The most memorable was a conversation I had with him in 2007. We were discussing the Forbes Magazine Hip-Hop list. His videographer happened to be filming him that afternoon and captured the interaction.

Earlier this week I was digging through some of my old paperwork and happened to stumble upon the footage. When I watched it I relived that same spirit of inspiration I felt when I sat in his office. Subscriptions to Forbes, Robb Report and Fortune at the age of 19; the man was born in fly shit.
