Seraphin VSOP Cognac Review
All Seraphin Cognac is made from the finest grapes from the Grande Champagne region of France. The Seraphin VSOP is an exceptional cognac.
Seraphin VSOP Cognac is aged for seven years. Before I even get to the flavor profile, the presentation is stellar. The Seraphin VSOP bottle is set in an aluminum case which is in adorned with beautiful artwork depicting a Seraphim angel.
Seraphin VSOP is a very deep copper color. On the nose I got notes of honey, caramel and an interesting dry spice.
Seraphin VSOP is really smooth and well-balanced. The upfront flavors are fruity but far from sweet delivered by a dry medium to full body. The finish is long and leaves a great taste on your palette.
Priced under $40.00 dollars, Seraphin VSOP Cognac is a steal. I would pair this would a medium body cigar. If you don’t smoke consider this a great sipping cognac as you wouldn’t want to suppress any of its great flavor by mixing it in a cocktail. A big thanks to Tai at Seraphin for introducing me to this lovely bottle. Next up is the Seraphin XO.
Cheers!
