Sobieski Karamel Vodka Review
At the tail end of 2010, Polish Vodka company Sobieski introduced their Sobieski Karamel Vodka. This caramel flavored vodka is one of the tastiest spirits I have ever had the pleasure of sipping.
Sobieski Karamel is naturally flavored and is made with Dankowski Rye. As soon as you crack open the bottle you get an alluring aroma of fresh caramel candy. The body is thick and silky upon pouring.
The flavor profile is outstanding. You get all the caramel flavor with no overbearing sweetness and the strength of a 70 proof vodka. I experienced it on the rocks but I am sure you can enjoy it in some interesting recipe combinations.
Sobieski Karamel Vodka is priced under $20.00 for a 1 liter bottle, this is a steal. I suggest you buy a bottle and bring it to the next cocktail party. Thanks to my good friend Anson for introducing me to this great vodka. Cheers!
I had the pleasure of tasting this Vodka Friday night, and was blown away. This will be an addition to my mini bar this week.
I gave a bottle to a buddy of mine who makes Icecream all I can say is AMAZING!!!!!!
I tried this vodka last night on the rocks as well. It has such a pleasant aroma and taste. I’m a lover of caramel and thought it was very prevalent and sweet without taking away from the alcohol. Yet, I think I will tool around with adding this to cocktail recipes. I’ll let you know how that goes. Thanks for posting!
Tessa,
I think Joe’s comment about infusing this Vodka into an ice cream recipe would be great for you.
I really don’t like vodka but I want to try this one
This is delicious. I enjoy it on the rocks as well. I wouldn’t even try it in a recipe as it is that good!
