I am a picky person when it comes to hospitality and customer service. I have been fortunate enough to do a fair amount of traveling throughout the Americas and the Caribbean. Still to this day no hotel has rivaled the accommodations of the Fairmont Royal Pavilion in Barbados.
The Fairmont Royal Pavilion is a five star hotel that is located in the parish of St. James. Upon our arrival, my wife and I were greeted with hot towels for our hands and a cold refreshing cocktail. The grounds were immaculate and their overall decorative theme for their common rooms gave this place a soft and quiet touch.
Fitted with a king sized bed and a stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean, our room was spacious and elegant. It was definitely a great feeling to wake up each morning to such serene surroundings.
The Royal Pavilion is set right on the beach which is the best feature of the property. Your time on the sand is private to only the hotel guests, so there are always open beach chairs for you to enjoy the sun. If you are not a beach person, then the pool which is surrounded by palm trees might do the trick.
Every morning there is an extensive breakfast featuring fresh fruits and pastries and a chef that makes some delicious omelets. At high noon, there is a complimentary tea and crumpets for all the guests.
Overall Barbados is not a cheap destination. At 500.00 to 600.00 dollars a night, The Fairmont Royal Pavilion Barbados is far from economical but you will get what you pay for with this location. If you are looking to experience a truly luxurious stay with great service, well furnished rooms, great food, private beach and much more, then you should consider the Royal Pavilion. You won’t be disappointed.
This looks really nice. It also looks like it will make my wallet tremble.
Very nice. Cheap is expensive, expensive is cheap. The last person we should want to be cheap with is ourselves. I’m sure you & your wife had big fun!
