Vacheron Constantin Venezuela Limited Edition Timepiece
With all things there is good and there is great. When it comes to time pieces VacheronĀ Constantin is regarded by enthusiasts as the finest in watch manufacturing. Founded in 1755, previous Vacheron Constantin watch owners include Napoleon Bonaparte, Pope Pius XI, the Duke of Windsor, and Harry Truman.
Their new limited edition piece commemorates the 200th anniversary of Venezuela’s independence. It is one of the most impressive watches I have seen.
Limited to a production run of 19 pieces, the back is engraved with the date of Venezuela’s independence of April 19, 1810. Ten pieces will be set in a rose gold finish and the remaining nine will come in a platinum finish.
In my opinion this is a very versatile wrist watch. It has a subtle elegance that can translate well in the boardroom, gala or cigar lounge.
The dark brown leather only accentuates the spectacular craftmanship. Additionally Simon Bolivar who led Venezuela to victory during the independence war is also the same icon represented on Cuban cigar brand Bolivar.
