Country: United States (Anderson Valley)
Ever since I have been introduced to the Walt Hall Wine family, I have been a big fan of how they finesse such lush flavors out of very challenging growing seasons. I recently fell in love with another one of their selections and if you love wine like I do, then you should place your order for the 2012 WALT “The Corners” Anderson Valley Pinot Noir right now.
The nose alone will let you know this is a big wine with a wonderful bouquet of spice and dark fruit. Upon my first sip I was greeted with a delicious, rich and decadent offering.
This is a large framed, full bodied wine with an intense and concentrated feel on the palate. With a silky mouth and fruity finish this is a serious Pinot Noir.
I suggest should be pairing with porterhouse steak, rich sauces and or a crust so it doesn’t overtake the meal. While I prefer a lighter style of Pinot Noir, the 2012 WALT “The Corners” Anderson Valley Pinot Noir shines!
